About Uttar Pradesh Board

The Board of High School and Intermediate Education of Uttar Pradesh is the principal body responsible for managing, developing and monitoring execution of school level education across the length and breadth of the State of UP. Also popularly known as the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), this board is responsible for conducting the annual high school examination for class 10 students and class 12 students of the state.

Considered as one of the largest boards in India, the Uttar Pradesh Board witnessed a total of 3404571 students appearing for the class 10 examination. The exam is highly competitive in nature and it’s natural for students to feel anxious around the time of result declaration for UP Class 10 Results 2019.
In 2017, the UP class 10 exams were conducted across 11000 centres between March and April 2017. Year 2017 saw a pass percentage of 76.75% male candidates, 86.50% female candidates and total pass percentage of 81.6%.
This year a total of 3404571 students appeared for the UP 10th Board Exams and the pass percentage is estimated to increase.

On qualifying the entry test, students have the option of undergoing practical training in the respective industry of choice. The National Council for Vocational Training provides a National Trade Certificate (NTC) to all those who qualify the AITT. On qualifying the All India Trade Test (AITT), students can apply for listed jobs across the Government sector such as in the Indian Railways and other sectors.
-          Those interested in the field of teaching can register for training in diploma programmes conducted by the Department of Primary Education across various States for Nursery and Pre-Primary level. Concerned candidates can appear for the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) which conducts examination to recruit personnel to the clerks grade. Meritorious candidates who have passed their SSLC 2019 can apply to the respective courses based on their eligibility.
