What to do after 10th

Deciding on the next step ahead after completing Class 10 exams is one of the most significant yet challenging decisions for students. Most students opt for completing higher secondary education which is an essential step towards pursuing further studies. However, making an appropriate decision on the streams to be chosen at the plus-two level could be baffling for students. Depending on the marks secured in matriculation and based on the student’s aptitude, the choice of stream would vary. The available streams are as follows:
1.    Science Stream (Maths/Biology/Computer/Bio-Maths)
2.    Commerce Stream
3.    Arts/Humanities Streams
Candidates must stay abreast with the scope of further studies and career opportunities available to ensure that they have maximum information to facilitate them on making an informed choice on the career path ahead. While parents’ and teachers’ guidance play a prominent role in helping students make a correct decision, candidates can also seek professional help from external sources such as career counselling teams and education fairs. Apart from studying +2, students can also choose from a host of alternative courses which are unconventional in nature. Some of these include:
-          Courses offered by the Industrial Training Institutes or  Industrial Training Centres that provide skills training across industries
-          Applying for posts in the Defence Sector such as Indian Army, Indian Navy or Police Forces
-          Applying to certificate programmes like Animation, Web Designing, Information Technology, Fashion Industry or any other relevant programme that candidates can apply for after clearing the Rajasthan class 10 2019.
-          Registering for training in diploma programmes conducted by the Department of Primary Education across various States at the Nursery and Pre-Primary level. Candidates will have to clear the exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission.
