The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Results 2019 are expected to be announced online on its official website in the month of May/June. Though the exact date of result declaration is yet to be officially confirmed by the Board, its publication is tentatively scheduled as per the Board’s annual academic calendar. About Punjab Board

PSEB or the Punjab School Education Board was established in the year 1969 through a legislative enactment of the Assembly of State. In 1987, the Board was conferred its autonomous status through an amendment to the previous Act. The Board holds the authority to design the course pattern, develop curriculum and regulate the education policies in the schools affiliated with it. It is also responsible for conducting the annual state-wide board examination at both the Secondary and Higher Secondary levels. More than 5 lakh students are recorded to have appeared in the PSEB 2019 examination.

-          Students must obtain multiple hardcopies of the online results for future references until the original is attained from the concerned authority.
-          Printout of the online result can be used as a provisionaldocument until the original mark sheet is handed over by the school. While it’s never an easy task to decide on the career path after completing matriculation, most students seek an admission into plus two.The choice of an appropriate stream to be pursued at the higher secondary level could be confusing for many. These include a wide range of skills including electrician, mechanic, fitter, plumber, and many more. The duration of the course usually varies with the trade. After successfully completing the course, candidates can undergo practical training in the respective industry. The National Council for Vocational Training provides a National Trade Certificate to candidates who qualify the AITT (All India Trade Test) and these candidates are eligible to apply for jobs in the Government sector across a host of departments such as Indian Railways, Telecom Departments, etc.
-          National Defence forces: After completing PSEB Class 10 Exams, students can also choose to apply to the prestigious Indian Army of Indian Navy for various posts.
-          Those intereseted in the field of teaching as faulty can undertake training in diploma courses conducted by the Department of Primary Education across various States. Staff Selection Commission conducts examination for the clerks grade. Candidates who havecleared their seondary exams can apply for the same.
-          Centre Reserve Police Force: Correspondingly, candidates can also apply to various posts offered by the Police Force which they have to qualify on the basis of written and physical test. Qualifying candidates will be eligible to join the post of Constable in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
-          There are several short term courses and certificate programmes offered by the IT sector as well as byother sectors that students can take up after completing their PSEB Class 10 2019 Boards.
